Probably one of the best hotel we have stayed! Mr Moi San was especially helpful and hospitable. He took care of our needs and ensure we had a pleasant stay. When we have requested for him to help us to book a taxi to a restaurant to/fro for dinner, he even called the taxi driver to ensure we had boarded the taxi to return back to the hotel safely. Other than that, hotel's view is awesome as we were facing Grand Hirafu Ski Resort. The room is huge and we were given a "super king size" bed, good enough for 3 adults to sleep comfortably. Will definitely recommend to others and come back in future! :)

We stayed at Chalet Ivy mid December 2023 and absolutely LOVED it. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and inviting. The onsen is spectacular and we visited it at least once daily (often more). The folks in the ski rental shop are awesome. We specifically worked with Dan and he was awesome! Can’t thank him enough for all his help and insight. Even though there wasn’t a ton of snow when we visited, we had a blast. We will certainly be back in the future! Thanks for the hospitality and fun!

Fantastic location with great amenities (including shuttles services for an already very short walk to main chair lifts, on site ski hire, ski lessons, lockers and free washing machines and dryers). Breakfast was really tasty with a large and varying selection of each day. Exceeded our expectations and would definitely come back and recommend to our friends.

Stayed here for a short ski vacation during off peak season and had a superb experience - room was clean and spacious, amenities were great and staff were very friendly and helpful. The ski equipment rental staff Daniel and team were cheerful and very patient with our fittings (as it was our first time trying snowboarding). The equipment rented were well maintained and of good quality. Location was very near slopes and food options, greatly appreciate the complimentary shuttle services as well. Thanks again for giving us such a great and memorable experience!
